Ancillary Equipment, Technical Services and Miscellaneous Requirements

Conrad Industries can supply all or part of the following or items listed can be supplied by the project owner.

Ancillary Equipment, Technical Services and Miscellaneous Requirements

1. Feedstock Preparation
Feedstock preparation is required to reduce moisture and size the material to facilitate conveying and process feed systems. Shredder, cuber, dryer

2. Feedstock Conveying
Mechanical and pneumatic systems Feedstock from storage or trailer to feed preparation systems Prepared feedstock from storage (30 day supply) to process infeed systems

3. Product Conveying
System to integrate all carbon char and carbon-to-carbon char components. Eductor and piping to carbon char silo Non condensable gas piping from base unit to flare. Oil piping from base unit to oil storage. Solids residuals handling - conveyors, storage and shipping vessels, scales. *Additional required for gas compression, cogeneration, oil enhancement.

4. Carbon Char Storage
Silo 10 day supply in cubic feet: Silo to have a 15'X 60-degree cone to facilitate carbon char flow.

5. Oil Storage
Tank 10 day supply in gallons: Tanks to be 25,000 gallon double wall saddle type 12'X48' or equivalent. Tank-to-tank recirculation and bulk loading/grounding. Spill containment, oil water separator, bio pond. Gauge/metering technology for custody and non-custody transfers

6. Product Packaging
Carbon char handling - bagging systems, rail car loading, packaging, scaling system to get carbon char to bagger, miscellaneous plumbing, training Oil - drums, sampling

7. Duplex Air Compressors
Two 25 HP, 94 CFM @ 125 PSI rotary screw air compressors with interconnected supply lines. Uses are nitrogen generator, plant maintenance, infeed air locks, carbon char silo pulse bag house.

8. Truck Scales and Shack
100 ton capacity 10'X70' Scale shack for weighing control or remote communication and weighing capabilities to the main plant office.

9. Forklift / Loader / Dumptruck
Forklift to be 8-10,000 pound capacity, 3-stage mast, propane powered, pneumatic tires. Loader to be of capacity and configuration to load chips into conveyors, hoppers, trucks and trailers. Dumptruck to be adequate size to transport feedstock to processes.

10. Engineering
Engineering to locate, design and integrate ancillary equipment to facilitate and optimize facility operations.

11. Installation, Setup and Startup
Equipment crane etc. to install ancillary equipment. OEM’s (Original Equipment Manufacturer) to train personnel, verify correct installation and ramp up to full operational capacity.

12. Electrical / Mechanical
Electrical raceways and switchgear to facilitate ancillary component integration. Pneumatic and mechanical systems to integrate ancillary components.

13. Safety and Health
Equipment: PH, corrosion, hazardous gas, Safety equipment – PPCE (Personal Protective Clothing and Equipment), emergency medical equipment, glasses, coveralls, self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) - dependent upon degree of in-house maintenance. Safety and Health support: Partner with local clinic or hospital

14. Environmental Compliance
Environmental: Facility engineering, equipment and site layout to facilitate spill protection, wash and cooling water remediation, personal safety - oil/water separators, bio ponds, tank spill containment structures, fall protection. Emissions: - Stack monitor – VOC, HCN, SO2, NOX, HCL - Fugitive emission monitoring and on line process quality control. Industrial Hygiene: Personnel hazards monitoring and exposure control - dust, odor, ventilation, procedures, warning systems, feedstock and product stream monitoring, hazards identification and exposure control. Emergency Response: Network with local businesses and government entities

15. Permitting
Solid waste handling, fugitive and air emissions, storm water and oil spill plans. Outside testing required by permitting authorities.

16. Hazardous Waste Reduction
Hazardous treatment and disposal, special training, equipment, emergency response Applicable “only” if hazardous waste is introduced into the process with the feed, eg. heavy metals
